Camino Search are partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing professional services firm, backed by private equity, specializing in delivering innovative solutions to mid-market clients.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our clients executive team. The COO will play a critical role in overseeing the company’s operational functions, driving efficiency, and ensuring the successful delivery of their service streams. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in services sector, operational management, and a proven track record in a private equity-backed environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to clients.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Performance Management: Establish performance metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining the highest levels of operational integrity.
Your background:
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational leadership roles within the services sector, with at least 5 years in a COO or similar executive position.
  • Education: MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Skills: Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, and operational management skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Private Equity Experience: Proven experience working in a private equity-backed environment, with a track record of driving growth and operational excellence.
