Camino Search is partnering with a growing business services company at a pivotal stage, poised for significant growth and preparing for a potential exit process. Our client operates in the international B2B services sector, providing innovative solutions to clients worldwide.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving margin improvement, establishing a robust and fit-for-purpose finance function, and preparing the business for a successful private equity sale

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership:Provide strategic direction and leadership in all financial aspects of the company, ensuring alignment with our growth objectives.
  • Margin Improvement:Identify and implement strategies to enhance profitability and drive margin improvement across all business units.
  • Finance Function Development:Establish and maintain a robust, scalable finance function that supports the company’s international operations and growth ambitions.
  • PE Sale Preparation:Lead the financial preparation for a potential private equity sale, including due diligence, financial modeling, and stakeholder management.
  • Risk Management:Develop and oversee risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure financial stability.
  • Financial Reporting:Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership:Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a similar-sized business. Circa (£50m to £100m)
  • Strong background in driving margin improvement and preparing businesses for private equity transactions.
  • Expertise in establishing and managing international finance functions.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
