Camino Search are partnering with a dynamic and innovative events agency, recently securing our first institutional investment. Our client are poised for significant growth and are looking to expand organically and through strategic mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our clients executive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private equity backed media businesses and a proven track record in driving growth both organically and through M&A.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
- Lead and manage all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
- Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and risk management.
- Drive M&A activities, including identifying opportunities, conducting due diligence, and integrating acquisitions.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute business strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
- Extensive experience in private equity backed people based businesses.
- Demonstratable experience of growing a business from £20m to £50m revenue.
- Experience of Mergers & Acquistions
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified or equivelant
